Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle full set of 3 SG holding companies, only 1 active requires to compute cost back charge to the subsidiaries.
- Work closely with K-12 regional finance head to streamline the budget modelling
- Responsible to review monthly financial report, provide in depth expenses analysis and commentary against the budget
- Track and analyse key expenditures metrics, to benchmark it for other schools’ improvement plans
- Consolidate K-12 monthly budgeting and actual results
- Provide supports for the system migration
- Assist to prepare financial modelling and/or discounted cashflow
- Assist to manage and consolidate Education Group Cash Flow
- Assist in enhancement of the financial and management system, internal control, policies and procedures
- Liaise with banker, internal auditors, external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary where appropriate
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Streamline accounting process and enhance the internal control, ensuring consistency practices
- Design a system to streamline the budget modeling and cost tracking
- Monitor budget/forecast to actual performances
- Provides suggestion leading to cost monitoring/saving in operations
- Ensure the deliverables are accurate and within the deadlines
Requirements
- Education sector will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Ms Excel Formulas); IT savvy
- Proficient in data analysis
- Knowledge of corporate tax and deferred tax computation
- Audit Experience is a plus
