Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Embedded System Engineer to join our team as a Research Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, programming, testing micro-controllers, and building corresponding circuitry and PCB for our cutting-edge research projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in flexible electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program micro-controller for realizing target functions.
- Design circuitry and PCB for corresponding micro-controller.
- Help with requirement analyse and micro-controller chip selection.
- Document design processes, results, and findings for academic publication.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in flexible electronics and related fields.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Master C/C++, have proficient embedded development and MCU development capabilities, and good programming habits.
- Familiar with communication ports, including UART, SPI, IIC and GPIO.
- Able to read hardware schematics, capable for driver writing and optimization, and familiar with Renesas, Nordic and STM32’s commonly used chips;
- Familiar with BLE working principle and commonly used BLE chips.
- Familiar with micro-controller developing tools (e.g. Keil, IAR)
- Experience with PCB design and proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g. Altium Designer)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, automation, or related field.
- Solid digital and analogue circuit knowledge foundation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in MATLAB or Python for upper computer software development.
- Familiarity with biomedical signal processing or wearable electronics.
- Prior research experience in an academic or industrial setting.
- Additional expertise in wireless electronics design
