Shift Schedule:
Transport is claimable for early (before 7 AM) or late (after 11 PM) shifts.
- Morning shift: 6 AM to 3 PM
- General shift: 9 AM to 6 PM
- Afternoon shift: 2 PM to 11 PM
- Night shift: 10 PM to 7 AM
Job Overview:
- We are seeking an Infrastructure & Container Platform Support Engineer to collaborate with both Application and Infrastructure teams, ensuring the seamless implementation of infrastructure requirements for various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to set up and support the infrastructure required for applications.
- Ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance of operating systems, middleware, and databases, in line with bank standards (security patches, bug fixes, end-of-support (EOS) updates, ISCD compliance).
- Provide hands-on technical expertise and senior-level guidance to application teams as required.
- Respond to incidents promptly, investigate issues, and provide temporary or permanent solutions related to middleware, operating systems, and database performance, capacity, resiliency, stability, replication, and other critical components.
- Research and recommend solutions that align with business needs and enterprise operational requirements.
- Offer technical support to application development teams.
- Assess and validate releases of middleware, operating systems, databases, and associated tools to ensure compliance and minimize potential disruptions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and platform support.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, DevOps practices, and other container platforms.
- Proficiency in Linux and Wintel operating systems, and experience with databases like MariaDB or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with networking technologies (F5 GTM/LTM or similar load balancing solutions).
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong teamwork skills, capable of working effectively across multiple teams.
