The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an innovative R&D healthcare manufacturing company, seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Procurement Executive! Reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will manage end-to-end procurement activities and support Source-to-Pay workflows, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategies and overseeing supplier tendering, contract negotiation, ordering, delivery, and payments.

  • Full-time, permanent opportunity
  • Work Location: Tuas
    • Company transport available: Jurong East and Serangoon MRT
  • Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm
  • Salary: basic salary + VB (depending on company performance)


The Job:

  • Handle the entire procurement processes and support Source-to-Pay workflows, according to the sourcing strategies set.
  • Manage the full procurement process, including supplier tendering, selection, contract negotiation, and ensuring timely ordering, delivery, and payment to meet operational needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, promptly addressing any issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with policies, standards, and regulations while keeping accurate, up-to-date records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance.

The Talent:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience in the procurement function, prior experience in the construction industry is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the entire procurement process and experience with Ariba system is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and manage contract agreements effectively.
  • Proficiency in Chinese to effectively communicate with native Chinese-speaking stakeholders based in China.
  • Must be comfortable working in a start-up environment, as the business is in its initial setup phase, and able to function independently with minimal supervision.
