Job purpose
Surveyors perform necessary measurements in order to determine the position, shape and elevation of the Land. Surveyors may spend a lot of their working time outside, taking measurement or in the office creating map, charts, reports and the like.
Main responsibilities:
Performing field surveys
Draft survey notes and create detailed drawings
Lead and coordinate on-field surveys
Take measurements
Lead assistants in performing daily activities
Collect and test water and soil samples
Ensure compliance with survey activities standards and regulations
Transport, handle and maintain survey equipment and utensils
Ensure compliance with safety environmental policies
Participate in planning, organizing and scheduling survey activities
