Key Responsibilities:
* Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and processing invoices accurately. Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and maintain proper accounting records.
* Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other relevant financial documents. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Oversee loan submissions and liaise with financial institutions to assist customers in securing financing for their vehicle purchases.
* Manage vehicle registration processes with the Land Transport Authority (LTA), ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
* Work closely with the sales team to track vehicle inventory, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping for all assets.
* Support and motivate front-line staff, fostering teamwork and a positive work atmosphere. Assist in administrative tasks, customer follow-ups, and coordination with external vendors when needed.
Requirements:
* At least 1-2 years of accounting experience, ideally within the automotive industry. Familiarity with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and processing invoices is essential.
* Previous experience as a customer service advisor or accounts administrator in the automotive industry is also advantageous.
* Proficiency in any accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to handle financial data accurately.
* A proactive attitude towards achieving results and meeting deadlines.
