We are seeking skilled and experienced Marine Welders/Fitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the Singapore marine industry and be adept in both welding and fitting tasks on marine vessels. This role requires precision, technical skill, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform welding and fitting tasks on marine vessels and components in line with engineering specifications.
• Assemble, install, and repair machinery and structural components on ships and other marine structures.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately to perform precise welding and fitting.
• Adhere to all safety standards and protocols while working in a high-risk environment.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure projects are completed to the highest quality.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter in the Singapore marine industry.
• Proficiency in welding techniques (e.g., MIG,) and metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with marine machinery and equipment.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Must have 4G welding certification.
