Responsibilities:
- Booking of flights with airlines
- Arrange shipments with customers and contractors
- Maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Handle all customers' enquiries timely and effectively
- Work closely with internal operations to meet customer’s requirements
- Ensure compliance with customer’s Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure all data are updated correctly in system
- Interface with multiple parties including customer, warehouse, carriers, customs, etc on shipment requirements
- Track and monitor shipments status and inform customer accordingly
- Monitors progress to achieve month end targets
- Work with billing team to close off jobs and issue invoice
- Take charge of supplier’s invoice disputes
- Take lead in issue resolutions
- Implement improvements to enhance service capability within the team
- All other ad-hoc work instructions from Supervisor / Manager
Requirements:
- Diploma in Supply Chain or related module equivalent and above
- At least 2 years of related experience in freight forwarding industry
- Strong knowledge in freight forwarding operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
- Communication skills
- Able to multitasking and ability to manage time effectively
- Problem-solving
