Job Description:
As the Managing Director of our Singapore sales subsidiary, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business operations and strategy execution. You will lead the company’s efforts to achieve sales targets, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure the alignment of local strategies with the global vision of the HQ in Japan.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in senior management, preferably in the food business model.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Deep understanding of traditional Japanese seasonings, especially soy sauce and mirin.
- Stakeholder Communication, collaborating closely with the HQ in Japan to ensure alignment of corporate strategies and maintain strong communication with key customers and suppliers.
- Understanding of digital transformation, with experience in implementing and applying it to business.
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Strong Japanese language abilities (speaking, reading and writing) are required as this position needs to report and meeting with head office with only Japanese language.
