- To liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors to all site related issues.
- To supervise and ensure works are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications.
- Prepare method statement, shop drawings, installation / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for related works with project teams.
- To direct the daily activities of workers under his supervision. Brief the foremen and workers for every new job and monitor the progress with regular check to ensure satisfactory quality.
- Regular check on workers’ punctuality and be aware of the accommodation & transport arrangement.
- Always advise workers to take necessary safety precautions and work safely.
- To report immediately any accidents, schedule falling behind, damage of equipment, etc
- Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on preparation and submission of shop drawings.
- Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with relevant authorities / clients / suppliers / subcontractors.
- To assist the Project Manager on all matters including preparation of master construction programme.
- To assist the Project Manager to negotiate / procure materials, equipment and labour.
- Hold technical discussions with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.
