- The selected candidate is responsible for the overall operations of the Centre and all activities, programmes and facilities are planned and implemented in a safe and conducive environment.
- Lead a team and oversee the well-being of your team members in the Centre
- Plan and manage the staff schedules and ensure staff to child ratio is maintained at all times, including transition periods
- Build strong rapport and partnership with various stakeholders
- Plan and implement programmes and learning activities in accordance with the Kindergarten Care guide and compliance to safety and health standards
- Ensure the Centre premises are clean and well-maintained at all times
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each individual child
- Handle administrative duties related to the Centre
- Perform classroom-teaching duties during the absence of Programme Staff
Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma in Early Childhood Care Education
- 3 years’ experience in a similar setting is preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Good supervisory and critical thinking skills
- Able to multi-task
- Able to handle emergency situations effectively
