- Responsible for management of operators or teams of operators in a Distribution Center/Warehouse.
- Responsible for employee performance, development, engagement, discipline, etc.
- Responsible for the performance of "standard work" within his or her sector or department. May occasionally fill in for or assist operators as needed.
- May be responsible for temporarily moving or shifting individual operators from one position or sector to another depending on changes in demand or priorities.
- Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
- Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
- Ensure safety and non accident record.
- Optimize daily / weekly balance workload / resources (internal, external storage and freight capacities)
- Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods > stocking > picking > Material handling > shipping finished goods and wastes
- Lead the team with targete indicators & action plan and ensure the compliance with SOPs
- Organize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target defined
- Manage warehouse processes performance and his team according to SOPs rules and cycle event of the plant
- Ensure inventories accuracy
- Guarantee that service level, quality environment, process lead time, maintenance & productivity goals are reached
- Manage the yearly appraisal of all staff
