Sales Engineer / Sales Manager

Job Descriptions

  1. Manage the day-to-day sales activities for the semiconductor manufacturing equipment products (e.g. CMP tool) within the designated sales territory so as to achieve the sales target set by management.
  2. Monitor, regulate and direct the activities of the sales representatives to maximize the market opportunities.
  3. To make forecasts / targets regularly and to monitor performance of the sales team in relation to these forecasts. Manager is expected to make directions for the team to achieve these sales targets
  4. To drive new marketing promotion efforts and to work with EC on the implementing the marketing and promotions efforts for the semiconductor manufacturing equipment products (e.g. CMP tool)
  5. To make, develop and manage the localized marketing and sales program for the sales territory.
  6. To communicate with the sales team to understand customer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
  7. To work with EC to set the industry pricing level.
  8. To manage the SAP ERP system for monitoring the progress of quotations, purchase orders, delivery and invoicing of customers.
  9. To work closely with EC on the new accounts and new products, using the local team to win new contracts.
  10. Establish customer rapport an acceptance
  11. Any other duties as assigned by the management

Job Requirements

  1. Knowledge of commercial and shipping documents (Incoterms)
  2. Knowledge of the semiconductor manufacturing equipment products(e.g. CMP Tools).
  3. Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  4. Good people skills with a pleasant personality.
  5. Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  6. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team.
  8. Must be prepared to travel overseas for training and to our customers’ location in the region as required.

Preferably to have Sales work experience in Japanese company in semiconductor industry for more than 5 years.

(Those without the relevant experience may be appointed as Senior Sales Engineer initially with a view to be upgraded later)

(Those with more years of relevant experience may be appointed to a relevant management position)
