As the Financial Analyst of Global Operations Finance at Micron Technology, you will assume the role of Finance Business Partner to one of the Global Operations Support Group. You will work closely with (among others) the VP of the Global Operations Support Group and VP of Operations Finance, members of the local and global Finance teams, as well as HR Business Partners.

As a Finance Business Partner to a Global Operations Support Group, you will support the organization as follows:
- Drive for best-in-class operations cost by understanding competitive benchmarks, installing financial rigor into project performance reviews, and driving accountability throughout the organization
- Support the Budget process and budget the necessary resources for the organization (headcount, capex, spends) while ensuring that resource allocation is optimized
- Review of organizational financial performance in PowerBI on a monthly cadence and direct management to cost opportunities and efficiencies
- Partner with finance and operations stakeholders to develop and implement new systems and processes such as PowerBI to improve efficiency and meet changing business needs
- Provide strategic decision-making analysis, scenarios and project-ROIs and benefit-analysis as required, propose alternatives, and make recommendations about the best course of action. Process includes post mortem & lookback for all ROIs
- Develop highly effective working relationships with members of the local and global Finance teams, the Global Operations team, as well as HR Business Partners
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Strategy, or related fields in the manufacturing industry (electronics manufacturing, semiconductors or other high-tech industries preferred). Candidates with non-Finance background but with a keen interest in Finance Business Partnering are welcomed.
- Intellectually curious, with a high energy level, growth mindset and passion for identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
- Capable of performing under tight deadlines and in an environment characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA)
- Excellent written and verbal English-language communication and presentation skills

- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Experience with advance data analytical & visualization tools (Python, Power BI, SQL) and benchmarking is a plus
Responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
