about the job
- Bring onboard new clients, projects and reach targets that hit defined sales and profitability goals
- Gather market intelligence, develop client network, and foster strong client relationships
- Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive landscape
- Review of bid proposal from tender team and make decision in consultation with director
- Serve as Bid Manager for large size projects
- Lead negotiation with client on bid and contract terms & conditions
- Develop and protect company’s brand, corporate image, and reputation
skills & experience required
- Master / Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering
- Min 8 years’ experience in a geotechnical role / site investigation in the construction industry
- Keen to pursue sales / business development position
- Experience dealing with / working for Teir 1 construction contractors and or consultants preferred
- Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements
- Must have a valid class 3 Driver’s License
