About Our Client
My client is a prestigious school in Singapore with several campuses across the country. They are currently expanding their Facilities team to support upcoming projects within the campuses.
Job Description
- Plan and oversee corrective and preventive maintenance for various mechanical and electrical systems, fire protection systems, and building services.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship by staying updated on best practices and implementing new initiatives like control guidelines, audits, and checklists.
- Provide operational day-to-day support.
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate using PQM, recommend for award, and coordinate and execute works and projects.
- Manage contractors, monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, offering technical guidance and advice.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and service providers in planning and executing events and activities.
- Be on 24/7 standby for activation during emergencies.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 5 years+ of experience in facilities management
- Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Availability to work on alternate Saturdays
