JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Identifies business development opportunities, propose new business, and drive such opportunities from concept to implementation and execution of such plans and tracking outcomes
  • Closely partner with stakeholders on the business strategy and operational planning needed to run a successful restaurant business.
  • Developing marketing strategies to promote the event, including social media campaigns, partnerships, and community outreach.
  • Creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for attendees, potentially including programming like dance contests or themed performances.
  • Curating entertainment options, such as live music, DJ performances, dance-offs, and themed activities to enhance audience interaction.
  • Building relationships with other industry professionals, artists, and influencers to enhance future events.
  • Act as main point of contact for all things operational within the business, serving as a liaison between the company team and the clients and stakeholders
  • Identifying, planning and managing events strategies and activities to meet KPIs, business development, handle events proposals and quotations.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to attract new members, retain existing ones, and boost overall club revenue.
  • Maintain and build relationships with club members by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Developing and enforcing safety measures, including crowd management and emergency procedures, to ensure attendee safety.
  • Develop and coordinate promotional as well as collateral materials like brochures, videos, binders and trade show graphics etc
  • Identifying potential partnerships for future events and exploring new concepts to keep the disco theme fresh and exciting.
  • Regularly tracking expenses against the budget and making adjustments as necessary to avoid overspending.
  • Stay updated with the latest sales techniques and industry trends to apply best practices within the club
  • Creating engaging content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to generate buzz and attract attendees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree/ Diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A background in arts or music can also be beneficial.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the hospitality, fitness, or leisure industry.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing events, particularly in the entertainment or nightlife sector..
  • Must have experience with disco culture, music history, and trends in the entertainment industry.
  • Organize themed nights, special events, and live performances to keep the venue lively and attract a steady stream of customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with event planning tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) for scheduling, ticketing, and guest management.
  • Proficient in using social media for marketing and audience engagement, with a good understanding of content creation and analytics.
  • Develop strategies to create a unique atmosphere that reflects Indian pub culture, appealing to both local and expatriate customers.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate authentic Indian themes, from food and drink offerings to music and décor.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, especially leading up to and during events.
  • Ensure the club is operating within the legal framework, including managing alcohol licensing, sound level regulations, and event permits.
  • Experience in working with diverse groups to create partnerships and enhance event offerings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • 2A/2B/Class 3 compulsory. Preferably posses own transport. (Required to travel from time to time)
  • Should be flexible to work late evenings with prolonged period of standing (strictly off day on weekdays)
  • Strong market analysis and strategy planning skills
  • Proactive person who has positive attitude and responsible for sales targets
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
