Job Description
- Develop Project HSE plans, Site HSE plans, HSE procedures for auditing plans.
- Support HSE audits events and manage the QHSE systems.
- Review relevant codes regulations and standards for HSE requirements.
- Formulate, plan and monitor the annual budget for HSE expenditures.
- Implement behavioural based safety systems and provide training to fleet personnel.
- Vital link between management and personnel on all safety performance and adherence issues.
- Initiate regular internal audits to review and maintain ISO safety standards and work with external coordinators on external audits.
- Ensure conformances to company’s safety management systems, report and take preventive and corrective measures.
- Develop an efficient and effective HSE systems and process and set performance targets.
- Maintain proper documentation of all HSE activities and submit performance report to Senior Management on a monthly basis.
- Facilitate training and share best practices within the organization to maintain consistent and high quality standards.
- Conduct checks on sub-contractors and suppliers and evaluate on their quality systems and standards.
- Assist in handling of insurance claims and coordinate with insurers.
- Liaise with Owners Representatives on HSE related matters and convey the Owner Representative’s requirements for necessary deliberations and actions.
- Ensure and attend the formal review meetings held on schedule.
- Train Project members for HSE related matters required by EPCIC contracts.
- Carry out directives of organisation’s Management Representative/ Top Management to induct and monitor all the relevant disciplines of the company to assure their readiness and participation in the required Project HSE activities.
- Perform regular vessel visits to instill a strong safety performance culture (Zero LTA) and ensure compliance with all HSE regulatory requirements.
Requirement
- Min Degree in Engineering with certification in NEBOSH.
- Min 8 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in Managerial role in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or Marine Industry.
