Are you detail-oriented with a strong technical background in building projects? We’re looking for a skilled Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to join our team and oversee on-site activities for a major repainting project. As an RTO, you will play a key role in ensuring our project meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise daily repainting activities to ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
- Conduct quality inspections on surface preparation, paint application, and finishes.
- Enforce safety regulations and create a safe work environment for all site personnel.
- Maintain thorough records, submit daily activity reports, and collaborate with contractors and project managers.
- Identify and resolve on-site technical or logistical issues promptly.
- Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or related field.
- At least 3 years of site supervision experience, ideally in repainting or building maintenance projects.
- Certified RTO with recognized local authority credentials (optional).
- Strong skills in quality control, safety management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
