Job Description

As the Head of Contract Recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading our contract recruitment desk. You will be responsible for building a strong team, developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, and driving business growth in our core markets of commercial, legal, and corporate governance within the energy sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the contract recruitment desk, aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of contract recruiters.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their specific needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities and expand our client base within the energy sector.
  • Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Utilize various sourcing channels to identify and attract top-tier contract talent.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process, from initial candidate screening to offer negotiation and placement.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes within the energy sector.
  • Financial Performance: Drive revenue growth and profitability for the contract recruitment desk.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 10 years experience covering the contract recruitment lifecycle.
  • Experience working on projects in the Southeast Asia region.
  • Proven experience in contract recruitment within the energy sector, with a strong track record of successful placements.
  • Deep understanding of the commercial, legal, and corporate governance functions within the energy industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment tools and technologies.
