Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop Sales strategy that is in line with the organizational strategy and overall sales strategy.
- Prepare, monitor & revise the company’s budget to ensure the implementation of all activities.
- Ensure that the pricing of products and services is in line with the relevant Principal Brand pricing requirements.
- Conduct performance analytics and monitor company s’ services and product performance.
- Provide the required company inputs to the Marketing and Communications department to assist in their marketing research activities.
- Drive and monitor the performance of sales (volume, categorization etc.).
- Determine the inventory and purchase requirements from the insights and data analytics performed by the Marketing and Communications Department.
- Forecast demand for company s’ product and services categories.
- Prepare reports on the positioning and performance of products and services for both the commercial and the leisure sectors.
- Monitor and encourage the increase in product and service sales through upselling and cross selling.
- Monitor the inventory count regularly to ensure availability meets customer demand.
- Ensure strong business relationships are maintained with customers’ key accounts.
- Track the implementation and performance of company s’ sales activity and analyze current market trends and competitor activities.
- Ensure that the sales team is well informed and trained on company products and services.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications department and support them in conducting consumer and market research, conducting analysis exercises, gathering relevant data on customers and competition to identify growth opportunities and ensure increased sales.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service and Training department to identify the required competencies and skills to enhance the teams’ knowledge.
- Liaise with the Purchase department to replenish stocks based on customer demand.
- Coordinate with the Logistics and Warehouse department to ensure timely and smooth dispatch and delivery of items.
- Generate sales related reports like sales forecast, sales performance, sales risk etc.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety & environment regulations.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department.
Authorities
- Setting sales and performance target in collaboration with GM. Setting of competitive margins in collaboration with GM
- Deal negotiation and margin fixing as per set DOA limit.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field; Master’s degree in Business Administration is a plus.
- Diploma/Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or instrumentation will be an added advantage.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) experience is a plus.
- Excellent business communication required.
- Experience in leading a sales team.
