Responsibilities
- Accounting & Tax Management: Overseeing tax and accounting functions for Japanese companies in Singapore.
- Advisory Services for Market Entry:Conducting research on local legal and tax regulations.
Designing optimal investment and profit repatriation schemes.
Performing financial due diligence.
Analyzing business models.
Conducting market entry and joint venture partner research.
Arranging interactions with fund-invested companies.
- Accounting Team Management: Managing an accounting team to fulfill these responsibilities.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Credentials like CPA, CPA exam passer, certified tax accountant (registration optional), ACCA, US CPA, or equivalent skills.
- Work experience that demonstrates the use of these skills.
- Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese clients
- Practical experience in an auditing firm, tax consulting firm, or accounting and tax services firm is highly advantageous.
