Purpose:
- Manage Regional operations for VAM® Field Services and VAM® Services from Sales, operations to cash collection.
- Be responsible to provide strategic advice to the board to ensure that the Company achieves its financial vision, mission and long term goals.
- Be responsible of the application of the VAM® Field Service Procedures
- Be responsible of the application and the level of performance of the company rules: quality, health, safety, environmental and ethic
- Satisfy VAM® connection users e.g. customers, licensee, OEM mainly

Sales:
- Actively participates in VAM® Field Service commercial growth: responds to Service quotations and negotiates contracts with customers
Management and Operations
- Recruits, trains and manages the VAM® Field service in country employees
- Ensures that all staff are competent in the requirements of their job by carrying out training, testing and on the job assessments and appraisals as per VAM® Field Service policy
- Performs individual appraisals
- Conducts business in compliance with all company policies (Vallourec Management System, code of conduct 7 ethics, safety, quality, HR, environment, travel and expense,…)
- Plans rig days and resources to support region operations
- Ensures daily job planning and allocates resources to job to support customer requirements
- Manages and evaluates suppliers and sub-contractors if any
- Controls employee time sheets and approves monthly rig bonus to be paid at the month end
- Reviews, approves and validates VAM® Field Service job reports prior to be sent to customers
- Updates On-Line VAM® Field Service DRIVE portal with planning and reports
- Ensures quality of service work leading to customer satisfaction
- Responds to technical questions from customers on VAM® products and connections
- Propose amendments to VAM® Field Service procedures
- Provides consultancy for troubleshooting or product integrity investigation when required
- Manage the VAM® Services APAC team in line with the objectives defined by the functional manager, the VAM® Services General Manager
P&L and administration
- Prepares Budget for the region from invoiced days to headcount and P&L
- Responsible for region EBITDA results and compliance to Budget
- Tracks and publishes region monthly VFSI – Key Performance Indicators
- Maintains and approves invoicing monthly
- Ensures cash collection is performed routinely and maintains receivable within targets
- Ensures cost control on all expenses in country and purchase activity (materials, subcontractors)
- Ensures all in country and local structure regulatory compliance reporting and compliance
- Consolidate VAM® Services APAC activity
Within limits decided by Vallourec Global Solution Operation Director has delegation of authority on:
- Sales of Field Services
- Purchasing for sub-contractors
- Recruitment & termination of personal in his region
- Communication with customers for Field Service issues
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as Managing Director or General Manager or Senior Profile
- Minumum Master Degree in Engineering, Materials Science and is a MUST
- Minimum 10 years’ experience (i.e. marketing, engineering, R&D, IP,purchasing, operations...) in Oil & Gas Industry and 5 years VAM® experience is a MUST
- Strong commercial, financial and operational background, with an ability to apply appropriate principles
- Strong leadership, drive and ability to inspire and develop teams
- Strong decision-making, problem solving, critical thinking and influencing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
