Job Description
Position Overview:
We are hiring an officer to handle facilities, inventory and procurement for our office and laboratory. He/she must be willing to come to office daily, possess a good positive learning attitude and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
· Inventory
o Document and receive daily deliveries and shipments for the lab and office
o Update inventory and filing of delivery order
o Monitor, identify, track, review, and report the need of supplies and equipment in the office and laboratory
· Procurement for office, R&D laboratory and clinical laboratory needs
o Procurement of inventories including consumables, reagents, equipment and office supplies.
o Generate purchase orders
o Analyze different suppliers to obtain the most cost effective deals including supporting on OEM discussions with vendors
o Support the calculation of COGS
· Building infrastructure and ancillary services management
o Ensure the facility meets legal, health and safety standards
o In charge of safety (fire and biosafety) of the workplace
o Point of contact with external vendors for routine maintenance
o Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work including infrastructure and equipment repair, scheduled waste disposal, laundry, pest control, and external cleaning by vendor
o Monitor maintenance of equipment and infrastructure in laboratory in accordance with ISO and accreditation standards Nalagenetics possesses.
Experience required
· At least 2 years experience in inventory management, procurement and operations
· Strong organization skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Meticulous with documentations
· Good communication skills
· Good knowledge in Microsoft office (excel & word)
Minimum education qualification
· GCE O-level & above
