Job Responsibilities
1. Agency operations:
• Preparation / calculation for loan draw down and associated payments, P + I + fee payments, loan prepayments, reserves, etc.(role of “Maker” for own projects and “Checker” for team members projects)
• Maintenance of transaction records, contact lists, etc
• Safekeeping of securities – maintenance of up-to-date security records (eg: share registers, documentation log, obtaining confirmations from our custodian agents, etc.)
• Rate fixing
• Audit confirmations and
• Preparation / update of contact details
2. Fixed deposit placements – verification of signatures, checking of availability of funds, rate fixing, confirmation of placement etc.
3. Remittance applications – ensure payment is approved and funds are in account and made some preliminary checks before forwarding to remittance department.
Job Requirements
1) A degree in Business, Accounting or Banking & Finance with at least 3-5 years of syndicated loan agency or project finance experience.
2) Confident, proactive, able to multi-task (good time management) and work under pressure.
3) Strong communication , numerical and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point) are attributes which will help the candidate perform well in this role.
4) Experience with Loan Admin in either Syndicated Loan / Corporate banking
