Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of events from brief to reconciliation.
- Source venues, negotiate contracts, and manage logistics.
- Plan and manage event budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring high service quality.
- Oversee event operations and provide on-site support when necessary.
- Maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Utilize event management tools and software (e.g., SharePoint, Cvent) for efficient planning and reporting.
- Implement company policies and ensure compliance throughout the event process.
- Continuously seek process improvements and best practices in event management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event management, preferably in the hotel/catering or corporate environment.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget planning and financial reporting.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and event-specific tools.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of Singapore’s restaurant, venue, and supplier landscape is a plus.
- Project management skills and experience with continuous improvement methodologies are advantageous.
