• Contract: 2 years (Renewable/Convertible)
• Working Location: Changi Airport
• Working Hours: 8:30am to 8:30pm OR 8:30pm to 8:30am)
• Number of Working Days per Week :6 Days
• Able to work Sundays and Public Holidays.
Summary
Hub Operation Supervisor reports to the Assistant Manager Baggage,frieght, provide real time support to manage the distribution of Changi Airport’s common-use assets, such as Arrival Belts and the Departure Racetracks. The Hub Operation also closely coordinate with the Baggage Officer-In-Charge who provides ground presence in the Baggage Handling Area (BHA)
Responsibilities:
• Implementing the seasonal schedule by ensuring the relevant parties update the operational database with real-time data.
• Building the daily arrival belt and departure racetrack allocation using the RMS, resource management system and ensure that belt capacity is balance and will not cause any congestion.
• Providing real-time information to stakeholders (airlines and business partners) necessary for the efficient and optimal operations of facilities.
• Preparing various reports, such as Sitrep, for internal and external stakeholders
• Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays.
• Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise.
• Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room and or Baggage OIC for any real time operational changes and challenges in the BHA.
• Ensuring Arrival Hub operation Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma with any relevant education.
• Experience in an airline/airport operations environment (preferably 2 years of experience)
• Must have strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to develop and foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Airline/airport scheduling experience an advantage, preferably with gate and baggage scheduling systems
• Extensive computer knowledge and experience, and the ability to become proficient at new software systems.
• Familiarity with aircraft types and an understanding of Apron & Baggage operations would be an advantage.
• Must be able to work shift and weekends (if required)
• Ability to solve Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting while working environment.
• Maintain Safe work Procedure in Working Environment
• Able to Carry the Baggage, when necessary, time up to 50+ Kgs.
