Monday to Friday (Office Hours)
- Experience in state court library or relevant would be a plus.
- Collection development and maintenance (print and electronic resources);
- Managing acquisitions and contract negotiations with vendors (print and electronic resources, including subscription/ renewal of online databases);
- Preparation and management of the Library budget and handling the day-to-day operations of the Library, including:
- Circulation services;
- Inter-library loans and document delivery
- Reference and information services
- Information literacy services (including orientation briefings and training sessions)
- Promotion of library resources and services; and
- Monitoring patron and collection usage and security.
- Answer enquiries received from all channels, including enquiries from walk-in users, by phone, online and through emails (internal & external).
- Regular current awareness/ alert services to create awareness of library resources or provide
- updates of library matters - manage the bulletin board, circulation of latest information etc
- Any other library-related administrative duties assigned by the Authority's Appointed Representative.
Librarian who manages the Library:
(i) A Diploma (preferably from a local polytechnic).
(ii) At least ten (10) years of relevant experience working in libraries of similar capacity.
(iii) Experience in a law library is preferred.
(iv) A Certificate in Library and Information Management is preferred.
