Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the design, implementation and management of a wide range of travel products, as well as both online and offline communication strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of driving innovative marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Advise management on marketing strategies and initiatives to support company growth.
- Coordinate media relations efforts, including briefings and overseeing media coverage.
- Develop and execute a weekly advertisement plan aligned with business objectives.
- Create and manage marketing materials and information kits for events (e.g., travel fairs) and meetings.
- Design and implement communication strategies for the company and its events.
- Ensure adherence to the annual marketing budget, tracking expenses and making recommendations for optimisation.
- Oversee advertising, promotions, public relations and social media activities.
- Manage partnerships and sponsor relationships to maximise company exposure.
- Assist with media inquiries and support public relations efforts.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of promotions and special events.
- Increase the effectiveness of local marketing activities to drive customer engagement.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain and update the special events and campaign calendar.
- Monitor and control marketing budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-efficiency.
- Oversee all social media platforms, ensuring timely responses to reviews and inquiries.
- Plan and prepare the annual marketing budget, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Plan, manage and execute marketing communications for travel fairs and outdoor travel fair events, including advertising, sales promotions, strategic alliances, corporate communications and collateral production.
- Produce and manage marketing collaterals and oversee the company website content.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in marketing within the travel industry.
- Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and time management skills.
- Ability to think creatively and embrace challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with associates and clients.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and internet marketing.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- IT and internet-savvy, with experience in e-marketing.
- Willingness to work extended hours, weekends and public holidays as required.
