We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Channel Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and drive growth through strategic partnerships. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding our IT channel partner network. Your responsibilities will include:
Job Scope:
Channel Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute channel strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with channel partners.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Drive sales through channel partners by developing and implementing sales programs.
- Collaborate with partners to create business plans that ensure mutual success.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competitive threats.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in cybersecurity.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the product portfolio.
Partner Enablement and Support:
- Train and support channel partners on product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
- Develop and deliver sales and technical training programs.
- Assist partners in marketing activities and lead generation campaigns.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align strategies and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with partners to ensure they are informed about new products, updates, and promotional activities.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, or a similar role in the ICT or cybersecurity industry.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through channel partners.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity hardware products and solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
