The Sales Manager will lead and drive day-to-day sales operations across various brick-and-mortar channels, including mass merchandisers, independent dealers, and wholesalers. This role requires a strong leader to manage a distribution team focused on meeting KPIs in dealer sell-out, market inventory control, profitability, stock aging, and receivables and payables (AR/AP). This position will also focus on optimising the distribution budget to achieve ROI targets and working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Operations: Oversee daily sales activities across physical retail channels, ensuring smooth operations with mass merchandisers, independent dealers, and wholesalers.
- Team Leadership: Lead the distribution team to meet and exceed KPIs related to sell-out, inventory control, profitability, and stock aging. Provide direction, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Budget Management: Manage the distribution budget effectively to maximise ROI and ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with both internal departments and external stakeholders to support channel and product sales goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement changes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analytics by channel and product to understand business performance, generate insights, and recommend strategies for profit growth. Prepare and consolidate detailed reports using advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Query.

- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the consumer electronics industry, with a solid understanding of the market dynamics and channel operations.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel for data consolidation and analysis (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Query functions).
