Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a talented Production Supervisor to manage daily operations on the production lines, ensuring that quality and safety standards are met while achieving production targets. This role requires the ability to lead and develop a skilled team, address operational challenges, and ensure adherence to company policies. Key responsibilities include resource planning, promoting continuous improvement, and maintaining a positive work environment while balancing production goals, costs, and efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee workflow on production lines to meet targets in line with schedules and quality standards.
  • Complete production plans by scheduling personnel, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving issues, and reporting shift production results.
  • Manage workflow by monitoring processes, adjusting variables, observing control points, managing personnel and resources, and implementing cost-saving measures and system improvements.
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing leadership and direction to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to build a versatile, self-sufficient workforce.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to achieve production targets, balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Assess, review, and forecast material, equipment, and manpower needs.
  • Manage scrap levels, production rates, efficiency, yield, downtime, and overtime to meet standards.
  • Promote improvement activities in collaboration with support teams.

Skills and Competencies Profile

  • Diploma in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control practices.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and yield optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in operating production machinery and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a collaborative mindset.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, in a cleanroom environment.
