Responsibilities:
Handle multiple requests for the localisation of in-game texts, mainly from Traditional and Simplified Chinese to English.
Collaborate with external vendors for the localisation of other language pairs, as well as proofreading of existing localisation work.
Optimise existing in-game texts for all languages, and work with product managers to fine tune content.
Conduct LQA tests for all in-game text, check and correct localisation errors, context mismatches, and text overflow issues.
Provide translation support for other departments, such as the HR team.
In all localisation and proofreading work, ensure timely delivery of high-quality content that satisfies project requirements.
Requirements:
Excellent bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English. Able to work in an all-Chinese speaking environment.
Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or a related field are welcome to apply, and training will be provided.
Interest and passion in localisation and the gaming industry; familiarity with Computer-Assisted Translation tools is a plus.
