Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of safety protocols, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Provide safety training and education to employees.
- Investigate and report on incidents and accidents.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, WSH and other safety regulations.
- Maintain safety records and documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, WSH) is preferred.
- WSQ certification is recognised as well
- Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator/Officer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, WSH standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.
