Retail Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact, greet and assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations.
  • Manage sales transactions, process payments, and handle returns/exchanges.
  • Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocktaking and organising new stock.
  • Set up and participate in store events or creative workshops for children.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting store environment.
  • Provide support with any administrative tasks
  • Assist with online orders and packaging

Requirements:

  • Prior work experience in retail or customer service is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Basic computer skills for operating the POS system
  • Able to work in retail operation timings including weekends, public holidays
  • Enthusiastic about working with children, stationery and creative products
