Responsibilities
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Process reimbursement forms
- Managing basic office administrative tasks including filing, printing, reporting and emailing
- Recording and processing all financial and accounting practices, including profit and loss reports
- Working closely with accounting or financial professional to manage client’s records
- Maintaining bookkeeping and office accounting needs
- Collecting payments and updating accounts payable and receivable records
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases
- Check spreadsheets for accuracy
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
- Review and file payroll documents
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits
Requirements and skills
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
- Ability to work longer hours.
