Job Description
Individual to be involved in:
1. Oversee the execution of design projects, coordinating timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure smooth project delivery.
2. Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the design team, ensuring that client needs and expectations are effectively communicated and met.
3. Manage the work of designers and contractors, ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals and deadlines.
4. Ensure that design and construction work meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
5. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project to ensure projects remain on track and within scope.
6. Contribute to maintaining a high-performance, employee-centered work culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
1. Expertise in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite for creating detailed design plans and visualizations.
2. Strong skills in managing timelines, budgets, and resources, often using project management tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello to keep projects on track.
3. Understanding of local building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations to ensure that designs are compliant and that renovations meet legal requirements.
4. Familiarity with construction materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures to make informed design choices that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
5. Ability to create precise technical drawings and blueprints that guide contractors and construction teams in implementing design plans.
6. Competency in estimating project costs, preparing budgets, and ensuring that design solutions are financially feasible without compromising quality.
