- To produce high standard of clean rooms and also to ensure that the amenities in the rooms are sufficiently supplied for the convenience and comfort of the guests
- To ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the guestrooms/ public area.
- To collect keys for the assigned areas and sign in the key log book.
- To ensure that the trolleys are neatly stacked with linen and there are sufficient stock of supplies before starting to make - up rooms.
- To be able to prioritize daily job tasks, e.g. which room to clean first.
- To ensure that guest rooms and check-out rooms are cleaned as per Housekeeping standard and room supplies completely replenished.
- To clean and maintain the maids pantry, service area after every shift daily.
- To remove all dirty room service trays & trolleys, cutleries, and crockeries from corridor and guest rooms to the service area.
- To make sure the rubbish bags are cleared and disposed of at the garbage area after every shift.
- To know the various housekeeping amenities used in guest rooms.
- To report any maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Office.
- To follow rules and regulations of the Hotel & Management.
- To keep personal grooming at the highest standard.
- To be fully familiar with Housekeeping Policies and Procedure, Job Description and the Employee's handbook.
- To perform all duties other than these above which are requested by the hotel management/direct supervisor.
