Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate project activities to meet client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, and requirements with stakeholders, and manage execution.
  • Prepare project plans, progress reports, and budget estimates for senior management.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of claims, incidents, and milestones while driving project growth and improvement.
  • Review tenders, prepare quotations, and assess proposals.

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System Management

  • Oversee ERP system setup, implementation, and workflow management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align system requirements with business processes.
  • Negotiate with ERP vendors on contracts, updates, and support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues in coordination with the vendor.

Insurance and Claims Management

  • Manage procurement and ensure understanding of insurance policies and coverage.
  • Negotiate with insurers on policy requirements to ensure adequate protection for projects.
  • Ensure insurance policies remain valid during project extensions, preventing coverage lapses.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for insurers, ensuring correct claims submission and documentation.

Data Center Management

  • Lead a team of technicians to ensure smooth daily data center operations.
  • Address and resolve incidents reported by clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide hands-on support for data center infrastructure, including troubleshooting, server installations, and upgrades.
  • Perform cabling, onboarding, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Manage asset and inventory tracking to ensure proper equipment maintenance.


Requirements

  • Strong project management background, with demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and maintain budgets.
  • Familiarity with data center technologies, including server installations, network equipment setup, and related systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, procurement processes, maintenance requirements, and claims management related to IT infrastructure and data center projects.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, insurers, and vendors.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage, guide, and motivate a team of technicians.
  • Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Relevant certifications in data center management, project management (e.g., PMP), or similar are a plus.
