Marketing Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team in the heavy construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to support the company's growth and brand presence in the heavy construction sector. This role requires expertise in B2B marketing, industry-specific knowledge, and the ability to drive awareness, lead generation, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to position the company as a leader in the heavy construction sector.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to create actionable marketing strategies.
- Brand Management:
- Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and campaigns.
- Develop compelling content and messaging that resonates with construction professionals, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
- Manage the design and production of marketing collateral (brochures, case studies, videos, etc.).
- Digital Marketing:
- Plan, implement, and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Develop and maintain the company website, ensuring it reflects the brand and provides an excellent user experience.
- Track, analyze, and report on website traffic, digital campaign performance, and lead generation metrics.
- Lead Generation & Sales Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop targeted lead-generation campaigns.
- Create and optimize email marketing campaigns, whitepapers, webinars, and other content to support the sales process.
- Nurture leads through the marketing funnel and hand off qualified leads to the sales team.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer pain points, and competitive intelligence.
- Use analytics tools to track industry trends and monitor campaign performance.
- Event Marketing & Trade Shows:
- Plan and coordinate participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and other networking events.
- Develop promotional materials and ensure the company's presence at events aligns with its marketing goals.
- Budget & Reporting:
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources across campaigns.
- Provide regular reports on marketing performance, ROI, and other key metrics to senior management.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a small marketing team, providing direction and support for day-to-day activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and operations, to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Experience:
- 1 years of marketing experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial or leadership role within the heavy construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience in B2B marketing, particularly in a complex or technical field, such as construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, etc.).
- Expertise in using marketing automation tools (Marketo, etc.) and analytics platforms (CRM system).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
