Job Description: Sales and Marketing Manager (Vietnam Region)

Position Overview:The Sales and Marketing Manager for the Vietnam region will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and increasing brand awareness within the region. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in sales and marketing, a deep understanding of the local market, and the ability to lead and inspire a team. The ideal candidate will work closely with regional stakeholders and international teams to align marketing and sales initiatives with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and ExecutionDevelop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Vietnam market.
    Set, track, and achieve sales targets, adjusting tactics as needed to meet or exceed goals.
    Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand the company’s footprint.
    Manage and lead sales teams, providing guidance, setting performance metrics, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  2. Market Analysis and ResearchConduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitive landscape.
    Provide insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
    Identify potential risks and challenges, proposing solutions to mitigate them.
  3. Marketing Strategy and Campaign ManagementDevelop and execute regional marketing plans, including product launches, promotional activities, and digital marketing campaigns.
    Optimize the marketing mix to drive customer acquisition and retention.
    Collaborate with the global marketing team to ensure brand consistency while tailoring campaigns to the local culture.
  4. Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry influencers.
    Handle client inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    Organize customer events, trade shows, and product demos to engage and attract new clients.
  5. Budget ManagementManage regional sales and marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
    Monitor spending against budget and provide regular updates to senior management.
    Seek cost-effective strategies to maximize return on investment.
  6. Reporting and AnalyticsRegularly report on sales and marketing performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
    Use data analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and make informed adjustments.
    Provide actionable insights and recommendations for future campaigns and sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales and marketing role, preferably in the Vietnam region or similar markets. Proven track record in B2B or B2C sales and marketing.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Vietnamese and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Vietnam’s business environment, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing tools, and Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team, along with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to market changes quickly and come up with effective solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the region as required for client meetings, events, and trade shows.
