Job Summary & Responsibilities: (RETAIL)
The incumbent will be assigned to one of our showrooms within retail hours and is responsible for driving sales, enhancing the in-store customer experience and cross-selling products across different stores. This role will be trained to have deep knowledge of all current promotions, discount mechanics, and brand-specific offers across all product categories.
The nature of this role is to actively recommend tailored deals, promote products, and connects customers with the appropriate Sales Executives. The incumbent is to assist customers, ensuring they receive the best possible deals and product recommendations. The main goal is to increase store sales by offering superior deal package and increase customer engagement.
- Stay updated on Gain City promotions, discounts, and brand deals.
- Keep informed about new products to provide accurate recommendations.
- Engage customers to understand their needs.
- Recommend personalized deals based on customer preferences.
- Proactively promote in-store deals and offers.
- Suggest bundles, upsells, and complementary items to increase sales.
- Recommend add-ons like extended warranties, service plans, and installation services.
- Refer customers to the appropriate sales executives by product category.
- Facilitate smooth customer experiences between different product category sales teams.
- Work out the final price based on the customer’s selected items.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer preferences.
- Coordinate and follow up on deliveries and installation services for customer orders.
- Monitor performance of deal-driven products and provide feedback on strategies.
- Suggest improvements to promotions based on sales data and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in retail, sales, or deal management, preferably in consumer electronics or home appliances.
- Strong knowledge of promotion mechanics, discount strategies, upselling, and cross-selling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Proven ability to work in a retail environment and manage multiple customers simultaneously.
- Skilled in closing deals and cultivating customer loyalty.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
