Job Description:
- Stakeholder Engagement and Needs Assessment: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify their needs and clarify research/evaluation questions. Ensure alignment of priorities with the institution's, cluster’s, and ministry's vision, mission, and goals.
- Research and Evaluation Design: Contribute to the development of robust and rigorous research and evaluation methodologies for complex and specialized Health Services Research (HSR) studies.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Plan, oversee, and manage data collection efforts for health program evaluations and HSR studies. Analyze results, generate actionable insights, and communicate findings, highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations to inform future health programs and services.
- Knowledge Dissemination: Promote interest in and disseminate valuable knowledge related to public health, health program evaluation, and outcomes research. Share findings with the broader healthcare community both nationally and internationally.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Expand and strengthen the stakeholder base for health program evaluations. Foster and maintain partnerships with existing collaborators to support ongoing research and evaluation efforts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Public Health, or a related field.
For Senior level: Minimum of a Master's or PhD in Public Health, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline. - Proficiency in SPSS, STATA, or other statistical analysis software.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize complex data accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
