Travel Consultant - Part Time

Our client, a dynamic travel agency, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Admin. The ideal candidate will handle travel-related administrative tasks and communicate with governmental travel authorities as required. This role offers flexible working hours, allowing you to work from home while ensuring tasks are completed on time.

  • Assist clients with booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services.
  • Process travel documentation, including visas, permits, and travel insurance.
  • Handle itinerary changes, cancellations, and travel-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain regular communication with travel-related government agencies for updates on travel advisories, regulations, and compliance.
  • Process and submit documentation to relevant government bodies to facilitate travel permissions and licensing.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in governmental travel policies and inform the team and clients as needed.
  • Manage and organize client records, including travel plans, payment details, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, airlines, and other service providers to secure bookings and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Ensure all files are updated and adhere to confidentiality standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients to provide information and support during the booking process.
  • Address client queries and resolve issues related to travel arrangements promptly and efficiently.
  • Offer personalized advice to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ad hocs duties assigned by director


Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a travel agency or a similar role.
  • Ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using travel booking systems and administrative tools.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
