BIM MANAGER (with DDM accreditation, LEAD - Tier
2)
As a BIM Manager, would you like to act as a key player on major projects, and actually make a difference?
Our client is a leading MNC Main Contractor involved in some of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks & infrastructure projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Highly motivated and experienced BIM Manager to play a crucial role in driving the implementation and management of BIM processes and technologies throughout project. The candidate possesses a strong understanding and knowledge of BIM principles, workflows, and software, along with proven leadership skills and a collaborative approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage BIM implementation on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, industry best practices, and company standards.
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), outlining projectspecific BIM uses, workflows, and responsibilities.
- Oversee model development and coordination, ensuring model quality, accuracy, and compliance with BEPs.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings, facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration and resolving clashes and conflicts.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM software, workflows, and best practices.
- Develop and deliver BIM training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of company-wide BIM standards, templates, and libraries.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BIM technologies and methodologies.
- Champion the use of BIM to improve project efficiency, quality, and communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager or Coordinator, with a minimum of 8 years experience in the AEC industry.
- buildingSMART Singapore, DDM LEAD (Tier 2) accreditation or equivalent BIM certification.
- Proficiency in BIM authoring and analysis software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of BIM principles, workflows, and standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
BONUS CRITERIA :
- Experience with other BIM-related software such as Solibri, Dynamo, and Grasshopper.
- Familiarity with different BIM uses such as 4D scheduling, 5D cost estimation, and facilities management.
- Experience in implementing and managing Autodesk ACC or other
common data environments.
