Job Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in the restaurant, ensuring a warm and attentive experience.
- Take and serve orders promptly and accurately, aiming to provide an exceptional dining experience.
- Offer comprehensive information about the menu, including yakitori selections, drinks, and daily specials, to help guests make informed choices.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, with skill and attention to presentation.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized, replenishing supplies as necessary.
- Assist with setting up and closing the bar area, ensuring it is ready for operation.
- Address customer inquiries, special requests, and feedback in a professional and friendly manner.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure orders are delivered promptly and accurately.
- Handle payment transactions, manage bills, and ensure precise cash handling.
- Maintain the restaurant’s standards for service, quality, and cleanliness.
- Work collaboratively with team members to foster a cohesive and efficient work environment.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-end or Japanese restaurant.
- Strong customer service abilities, with an approachable and outgoing demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine, with a willingness to expand knowledge.
- Bartending or beverage service experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
