This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our financial operations while supporting the growth of our organization.
As an Account Executive / Senior Executive at ULC, you will play a key role in managing accounting tasks and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. You’ll work closely with our finance and operations team to support day-to-day accounting functions and uphold our standards of financial integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Process day-to-day accounting activities related to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions, including verifying and posting entries.
- Reconcile payments and/or receipts with bank and related statements; prepare bank reconciliation reports.
- Prepare monthly journal entries for account closings and bank transactions.
- Conduct monthly intercompany and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and detailed accounting schedules.
- Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.
- Assist with tax and auditing matters as needed.
- Maintain proper internal controls and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage the timely processing and payment of all financial obligations, including staff claims and petty cash.
- Undertake any additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field, with a focus on AP/AR/GL functions.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Solid understanding of Singapore GST filing and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with internal teams.
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage ad-hoc tasks as required.
