The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the Senior Manager, Student Careers, with the development, marketing, and delivery of quality employability and employment support services to students and alumni, as well as the collection and maintenance of data to measure engagement, satisfaction, and effectiveness of support services, contributing to the continuous improvements to enhance all support services and ensure their relevance to industry needs.
Responsibilities:
Career Advisory
- Support the development of effective outreach plans for promotion
- Provide career advisory services
Employability Workshops
- Support the development of effective outreach plans for promotion
- Support the selection of workshop topics based on outcomes from the Employers’ Survey
- Support the selection of and liaise with suitable training facilitators to deliver relevant and quality workshop content
- Organize workshop schedules and any other related activities
Mentorship Matters
- Support the development of effective outreach plans for promotion
- Liaise with program partners to ensure a ready pool of quality mentors
- Organize related activities such as Mixer Night
Internships
- Support the development of effective outreach plans for promotion
- Support the internship application processes from point of student enquiry to successful placement of interns
- Liaise with industry and grow a pool of employers ready to hire interns
Employment Support Services (procurement of employment opportunities)
Organize and procure employment opportunities—internships and graduate jobs—to be promoted via:
- Career Portal
- Career fairs
- Recruitment Drives
Industry and Alumni Relations
- Support the growth of industry relations—sourcing and maintenance
- Identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration that benefit students and alumni employability and employment
Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor Degree from any discipline
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in events and marketing management
- Passion for working with youths and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience, preferably in the education industry
Monthly Remuneration: $2500 - $3700
