PURPOSE:

  • Collaborate with Fujifilm Business Innovation (FB) Japan Headquarters (HQ) and Asia Pacific (APAC) General Manager (GM) in formulating and executing the Graphic Communications (GC) division’s business strategies in APAC region and towards global expansion
  • Oversee product marketing activities in 14 subsidiaries in APAC, ensuring success and outcomes, achieving business targets at maximum productivity and efficiency

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

  • Collaborate with Japan HQ and APAC GM in formulating and executing the division’s business strategies in 14 subsidiaries in APAC region to ensure business targets are achieved and profits maximized
  • Oversee all new product launch activities in APAC (Southeast Asia, East Asia and Oceania) subsidiaries, from deployment of GC Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, to product trainings, marketing collaterals creation and distribution
  • Support new GC product launches in new territories, including USA and Europe
  • Oversee the entire GC product life cycle management including the support and management of existing products inquiries from all APAC subsidiaries, product customization and future feature requests, and end-of-life management
  • Ensure synergy in GC business performance across APAC
  • Provide direction, guidance, coaching and mentorship to all members of the team
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations and activities relevant to the above

To succeed in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • 10 years of experience in an Executive or Senior Management role with proven success in a mature Graphic Communications market
  • Experience and knowledge in planning, budgeting, financial management and business operations
  • Diploma/Degree or related field
  • Established understanding of the GC market and the digital transformation drivers
  • Strong background in APAC Sales and Marketing from within the GC Market
  • Established understanding of pricing and positioning strategies across multiple markets within a regional framework
  • Outstanding organizational, leadership and managerial skills
  • Self-driven, proactive with excellent critical thinking and able to maneuver all levels of a matrix organization
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving aptitude and decision-making ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to motivate and lead employees, and provide coaching and mentorship
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to write and converse in Japanese (minimally JLPT N1) business language in order to liaise with Senior Management in Japan HQ
