The Network engineer is responsible for managing day-to-day support of an organization’s information technology activities, meeting customer’s requirements and Service Level Agreements.
He/she is also responsible for the operational tasks for teams under his/her charge, ensuring that network, services, infrastructure and scope assigned, can work reliably and securely.
Lead teams that develop and implement networks and servers, respond to user/help desk requests, and monitor network stability and performance.
The activities may include but not limited to:
- conduct BAU activities, health checks, conduct infrastructure monitoring, handle customer queries, investigate incidents reported, resolve the incidents, apply fixes, and to ensure that incidents reported are tracked and resolved till closure
- provides leadership and accountability to the teams managed
- to train and guide junior team members
- The Network Engineer directly supports end users by handling escalations, resolving user issues, and monitoring the performance of business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages and quickly resolve ongoing issues
Technical Requirement:
- Minimum 5 yeras experience in IT Network Infrastructure
- Experienced in network/security administration in enterprise DC and Public Environment
- Experiences in supporting firewall /network product such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki and Check Point
- Experienced in troubleshooting system, middleware and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software issues, analysing system logs and identifying potential issues/incident
